David is a Bay Area native having lived in San Ramon Valley with his wife Renee since 1994. He currently has two children attending schools in the San Ramon Valley Unified School District. He has served this Board as Treasurer for the calendar years of 2010 and 2011, and previously served as Treasurer of the Twin Creeks School Learning Fund for nearly four years.

David is a Partner with MGO, a nationally ranked top 100 CPA firm, and has over 17 years of professional experience providing auditing, accounting, tax and consulting services to the private and public sectors. He is a thought leader in MGO’s practice, which has a national presence and serves on various technical committees, including projects with the Governmental Accounting Standards Board. His primary focus is now the public sector, and works with numerous cities, counties and special districts throughout the Bay Area. 

David also donates a significant amount of time to community service and professional associations.  In addition to his service to the SRVEF Board, he serves as President of the Association of Government Accountants, Silicon Valley Chapter, where he leads the charge of educating and developing professionals in Silicon Valley.  He also conducts numerous lectures annually on a variety of topics for various associations and organizations.
