How to Apply
Instructions for Grant Process
Guidelines
- The Grant application process will open on August 12. 2013 and must be received at grants@srvef.org no later than 4PM on September 21, 2013.
- Grant funding must be used by September 30, 2012. Please see Spending your Grant Funds for more information on how to submit and receive funds
- Every grant recipient must submit a report card with the outcomes of your project by March 30th, 2013. Grant recipients will be ineligible for any future grants until a report card is delivered to the SRVEF.
- Awardees will be notified by March 30, 2012. Please plan to attend Night with the Stars, the 30th SRVEF annual dinner on May 1 to receive your award.

- Donna Yokomizo will conduct two Grants dates and and location TBD to assist teachers in getting their Grants submitted in a form that is clear and measurable.

Criteria:
- Meets the SRVUSD Framework for excellence in rigor, relevance, and relationships
- Goals are SMART: specific, measurable, attainable, results oriented, time specific
- Addresses a student need
- Innovative and/or creative
- Number of students served
- Long lasting impact or potential for future impact for instructional excellence
- Sustainable project
