Annual Fund

The Annual Fund of the SRVEF

Through our events we raise money to support four main causes: Classrooms of the Future, Science Technology Engineering & Math programs (STEM), Reading, and Professional Development.

Within our Annual Fund, we support both one time and project based needs district-wide in addition to offering teacher and school-wide grants each year. Within our Endowment Fund, we are building a permanent source of capital to support long term innovative educational programs primarily aimed at STEM related needs.

In the last three fiscal years our Annual Fund has donated $140,000, $170,000,and $258,000 in 2008/2009, 2009/2010 and 2010/2011, respectively. In addition, SRVEF has pledged $135,000 out of funds raised for our Classroom of the Future Initiative.

These funds will be contributed in the 2011-12 academic year. This increase in our annual support is a direct result of our investment in professional fund-raising talent within our Executive Director’s office and our clarification of the needs of the district into the 4 main causes mentioned above. We believe as we continue to educate the various constituencies about our mission and the increasing needs of the district, we will continue to raise and donate more each year.
