What We Do

Through partnerships with various corporations in Northern California and Nation-Wide, we raise money to support our 4 major Causes: Classrooms of the Future, STEM, Literacy and Professional Development. We apply the donations and grants we receive to various programs that support these areas of focus. We also fundraise through various events throughout the school year.

Night with the Stars is our Annual Celebration Dinner that will take place on May 1, 2012. Proceeds benefit our Major Gifts and Endowment in support of Professional Development and Science Initiatives.

Friends of the Foundation is a membership campaign designed to raise funds for technology to support Classrooms of the Future. This 6 week campaign takes off April 30^th and runs through May 16^th.

SRVEF's Run for Education is our flagship event that will take place on October 14, 2012 this year. It’s a community-wide event that attracts 10,000 runners and bystanders on a Sunday morning in October in support of our local schools.

Read with SRVEF is our district-wide Read-A-Thon that runs from Valentine’s Day-Read Across America Day. All proceeds support reading and literacy.
